Sustainability

The employees of KK Kavics Beton Kft. (1088 Budapest, Krúdy u. 11) consider it their obligation that the Company's activities are founded on economic, environmental and social sustainability. We contribute to global success through local responsibility: with safe work that does not endanger health, and by designing technological processes that keep the emission of environmentally harmful substances to a minimum.

For the sake of sustainability, we continuously develop our products so that they can be made using recycled materials. In manufacturing our paving stones, we strive in every possible way to return materials to the cycle, thereby reducing raw material use and waste.

One of these processes, already introduced in paving stone production, is the reuse of fresh production rejects: any non-conforming product created during manufacturing goes straight back into its own mix.

In the near future we will introduce a technology that allows us to recycle crushed concrete obtained by crushing and grading our own non-conforming or rejected products.

We are committed to the continuous improvement of sustainable production. Through regular training of our staff, the introduction of new technologies and compliance with the latest environmental regulations, we ensure that our products and manufacturing processes have the least possible impact on nature in every respect.
