Paris tactile paving and guide stone

The Paris guide stone, as its name suggests, safely guides people with reduced vision to their destination with its lengthwise ribbed surface. The Paris tactile paving stone is also useful, from which a clearly
perceptible tactile warning strip can be created.
Using them, obstacles can be safely signalled to blind and visually impaired people as well — for example, the boundary between the pavement and the road at a pedestrian crossing. The lengthwise ribs, as well as the raised
truncated cones, clearly indicate a situation requiring heightened attention, whether detected with a cane or through footwear.
