Community spaces are an essential part of every gathering, whether on public or private land. In Hungary, paving stones already have a history of more than 35 years. During this time many shapes, colours and colour combinations have appeared, and their use keeps growing steadily. At the same time, on surfaces used only by pedestrians, there is demand for larger elements without unnecessarily increasing material thickness.

Today's high-strength self-compacting concretes make it possible to produce large-surface but thin slabs. The concrete stains used for decades offer many possibilities, while moulds give free rein to the imagination in terms of surface appearance. For example, on the surface of our Delphi slab — which resembles natural limestone — besides the inclusions, a false, non-structural crack is also visible.

Thanks to KK Manufaktúra technology, an endless variety of shapes and surfaces can be produced. Compared to traditional pressed-concrete technology, there is far more room for imagination and creativity. Any surface can be modelled at any size (with an appropriate thickness). Products designed with unique designs made using KK Manufaktúra technology meet the challenges and expectations of the modern age. They can be combined with other materials used in contemporary architecture (steel, corten steel, wood, glass).

The products represent high quality. Thanks to the production technology, they are also denser in material than products made with traditional pressed methods and even compared to natural stones. Our dense-structured, frost- and wear-resistant products are easier to maintain and keep clean, and thanks to their properties they are ideal for creating durable surfaces.
